Summer Mommy Body Prep- Easy Green Detox Smoothie

In an effort to prepare for the end of winter and the beginning of Spring, I’ve been making smoothies to prevent an overwhelming amount of comfort food and weight gain. One of my favorites is this green detox smoothie that I have been drinking every morning. It eliminatess bloating and gas and begins to remove belly fat. It’s quite the filling treat, so it acts as a tasty meal replacement. Don’t let the green color and vegetables scare you. You’ll taste the pineapple more than anything. Stay chic Mummy’s XOXOXOXO



  1. 1.5 cups kale, de-stemmed
  2. 1/2  cucumber, chopped
  3. 2 stalks celery, chopped
  4. 1 small peeled lemon
  5. 1 ripe banana (frozen)
  6. 1 cup pineapple (frozen)
  7. 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  8. 1/2  teaspoon spirulina powder- this is my vitamin of choice but you can choose an alternative
  9. 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  10. 1 cup cold, filtered water
  11. handful of ice
